Something about the vibrant pink and blue lights reflecting on wet pavement caught my eye, and I knew I had to capture it. We found a quiet corner (which isn’t easy in a place that never sleeps!) where I could set up my makeshift painting station. As I layered brushstroke after brushstroke, the city’s energy pulsed around us—cabs racing by, signs flashing overhead, and my mom occasionally pointing out interesting silhouettes passing through. “Neon City Reverie” is my tribute to the electric hum of urban nights, painted from our little slice of calm amid the chaos.
